Adoption Procedure

If you click on to the Happy Endings page you will see photographs of a number of the dogs we have re-homed which should give you a good idea of the range of dogs coming into Rescue.

We will not be showcasing dogs or providing details of dogs in the care of Rescue on site. if your application is successful, we will contact you when a suitable dog becomes available and at that stage we will discuss the dog with you, show you a photograph and arrange for you to meet him or her.

To apply, please complete the application form and e-mail it to the address provided on the form. Also please download a copy and post it with your signature to -

We will then review your application and contact you telling you whether it was successful or not. If successful, you will be asked to provide two references, including one from your vet.

Depending whereabouts in the country you live, we may contact you to arrange to have a homecheck interview quite soon or we may do this as we offer you a particular dog. Please be aware that our volunteer homecheckers may well bring their labradoodles with them when they visit you.

Please note that we are unable to home any of our dogs with allergy sufferers.

Fees

The administration fee, payable when you collect your dog, is determined by Labradoodle Rescue UK and will contribute to the medical and other expenses incurred on behalf of all the dogs in our care. The fee will reflect the age and condition of the dog. The average fee at January 2008 is £200.

We will always be here to advise on any problems that may occur with your new dog. You MUST agree to return the dog to us if you are unable to keep him or her for any reason throughout their life.

Please note, if at anytime any of our representatives feel the situation isn't right for the dog you may be turned down.
